Hi

I wonder if you can help a girl who has no clue about drainage? We have an acre and a half garden which is prone to flooding. It is very clay soil and only hits sand about 7 feet down. Its mainly laid to lawn through the whole garden but we wanted to get proper drainage as soon as possible. We have no idea what we need or what we need to consider. I know its a lot to ask but can you help? Thank you so much :)

Land drainage - have a read of this page and then contact a few local drainage contractors as the size of your site is probably too big for inexperienced DIYers.
