Hello Tony
Wondered if you could help me i am just getting started in block cleaning business,i have been reading about all the different sealers you can buy for different blocks. for instance i have been reading about clays and p.i.c and block paving. What is the difference between clays and block paving? and how do you tell the difference. Why do you need to avoid sealent on clays!
Thanks Kev ???

Clays vs Concretes - read this page

Sealants for clays - there are sealants that can be used, but they are not the same as those used for more permeable products such as concrete blocks.

For the gloss or matt finish on block paving I use Resiblock Superior, (concrete pavers) Resiblock do a sealer for concrete slabs, Resiecco, I have not used it myself, but did see it used on the Resiblock course, it looked ok, but it seemed it only had a surface life of about 18-24 months max.
