I have an enquiry from an old peoples home looking for the application of a non-slip, durable, and clear sealant on their monoblock pathways. I am considering using standard acrylic sealant with very small glass beads as an additive. Trouble is I can only find US suppliers. Anyone here aware of a UK supplier, or have any other useful advice?
Thanks in advance

I'm sure silica sand would provide a grippy surface but would it not also discolour the original surface colour. The glass beads that US suppliers have apparently can be mixed with the sealant and sprayed. I normally us a low pressure spray to apply sealand but doubt that could be done with silica sand. I suspect it would need to be rollered on which is no great problem. Any idea of amounts of sand/litre sealant? Is it possible to get the sand suspended in the sealant and get an even application?
Thanks again
