Final level of paving

im laying some block paving for a friend. he has laid new drains ( concreted them in ) and the gullies lie only 75mm above the concrete and MOT level. given the screed of 50mm and the blocs of 50-60mm the Finished paving level will lie above the edge of the gully. any ideas how i can get them flush without digging up the gullies and grids?

Gully 75mm above MOT / Concrete level is no problem
If using 50mm blocks, this gives a bedding sand depth of 25mm - perfectly sufficent and acceptable.
Even a 60mm pavoir gives you a 15mm bed which is adequate.
Just need to be a little bit careful when compacting the blocks where the drains are. the 'wacker plate' will bounce a little bit where the concrete is but dont over do it and you will be fine
