Old riven paving - What to lay it on

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

hi i want to lay a patio using bradstone old riven slabs and i need to know what to lay them on ie washed sand cement mix or mortar. also want to use 3 sizes 300x450 450x450 and 600x450 on a 25m2 area how many of each will i need

Today i took delivery of a OLD RIVEN CIRCLE sealed and banded and i have to say there was not a single corner that was not chipped and has messed my job right up...! THANKS BRADSTONE :)

That doesnt sound too good for me, I got a Butterfly and a Dragonfly to lay on tuesday.
