My mates has that annoying alarm to tell you the keys are in the ignition. He's going to get round to finding it and cutting the wire!
I read that article some time ago. I actually wrote to them to complain as they said in one report that it had an "umbrella" style handbrake and slated it, yet in that report it says it has a normal style handbrake. They wrote back and apologised and said it was the reporter being lazy and not bothering to check, he went on the old cabstar.
Just shows how these people don't test things properly!
You can now buy the cabstar badged as a renault, but There are so few dealers, and it is basically still a nissan, why would anyone want to bother? (nissan own renault by the way)

It fills in a few gaps about the hill start thingy mabob – looks like a clever little device that stops you from sitting or balancing on the biting point of the clutch when you’re at a junction upon a hill

bit of an update really
cabstar is going well, overall fuel consumption is 26.1 MPG which is fine by me about £45 a week
the only 2 things i don't like is that the doors have a tendency not to shut properly and the absolute bone shaker of a ride
its like visiting a $10 brothel every time you drive down the road!!
just don't get me started on speed humps===> lift off every time lol
but all in all good at what its supposed to do:
cart lots of stuff around
cheers LLL

My boss is for replacing my van this year, and he is looking around for what to get next. I have a Merc Sprinter 208 at the moment, but he aint getting anymore Benz, he is looking around at the moment. Overall would you recommend the cabstar?
The 2 other motors we have on the go are Volkswagen Transporters LT35, which im really not fond of, so im open to suggestions lads
