Started work on a drive upto our stables 2 weekends ago,
have taken out the old drive and disposed of the hardcore through Dans crusher.
The digger decided to blow a pipe while blocking the entrance to someones access and it rained.
Managed to dig out the topsoil yesterday and transport it into our field and it rained.
Today the rain has washed away my waterproof paint lines and the horses have managed to kick my level pins over.
Anyway going to don my wellies and have another go, at least I should be able to see any high spots.

I've been trying to lay my second course of blocks today. So far everytime I go out, I get about 5 minutes into the setting up (dragging the cement out of the shed, laying out the tools, etc) and it starts to chuck it down again.
I've knocked up a couple of guages (trying so hard to sound like I know what I'm talking about) and have had to bin half of one. Still they were only small ones, so not too much wasted. However, not too much progress either - only about 6 or 7 blocks down

Soaking wet and peed off but managed to finish digging out at about 6.30 on Sunday.
Stone should be here in the morning ready for the weekend.
(Hope my pics work)

There's a problem: Steve's piccies are stored on a dynamic site (uses php for the coding). I had to exclude dynamic site content because it was being used for many of the worst "behind the bike shed" pictures posted by the immature one-handed surfers.
I'll transfer the images to my server and upload them for you, Steve.

Ah, that's interesting to note.Tony McC wrote:There's a problem: Steve's piccies are stored on a dynamic site (uses php for the coding). I had to exclude dynamic site content because it was being used for many of the worst "behind the bike shed" pictures posted by the immature one-handed surfers.
I'll have a look at the image shack http/php produced page and see if there's a way of getting the picture's direct address...
