Hi all well im half way through 140 m2 of block paving but the weather has turned against me. As a non expert whats are your views on block paving in bad weather as im not sure weather to continue or to wait. thanks for any replys ....
personally drizzle is ok but heavy rain can wreck your screeded layer, best to do it in say 30 m areas
i'm not too fussed about working in the rain it keeps you cool, however the KD sand can be a nightmare
first time its rained in luton for 3 weeks this morning
regards LLL
do you know if it is a problem if i don't get the kiln dried in straight away like i want to pave the whole then brush the kiln dried sand in. does the rain wash any sand away causing the paving to sink? or does it drain straight through as i guess 3 days work left and 3 days of unsettled weather. thanks for your help
