Removing old tarmac

Before we moved into our current home the previous owner had a layer of tarmac (of varying thickness) laid over the two concrete tracks that lead up to the garage. I just want to remove the tarmac and after some gentle tugging at the worst bits last night it comes off fairly eaily by hand. The drive is over 100ft long though so I wondered if there was a specialist tool or piece of machinery I could buy or hire inexpensively to make the job easier on my own. Sorry if this should be in the tools section.

pick axe spade/ shovel are all good but i made my self a tool for the job its a 5 foot length of scaffolding pipe with a 3inch cold chisel rammed up it the end .
The pipe was hammered flat and then a bolt though the chisel’s shaft and the pipe
it works well by sliding it along the concrete and under the black top Or use it for chopping off chunks from the edge
it is all so good for general bashing and levering at big things like grave boards to level them up ect
or you can just hire breaker with a big chisel if you are feeling weak and feeble lol
andy
edit: and i got the pick to work first time for the first (and last time) lol
