Algea on flags

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

I hope you can all help me as you did with the advice i got in laying the patio
i have an East facing garden that has a 36sqm patio laid in Indian sandstone on a full bed of motar with cement pointing.
Some of the lighter/whiter flags have now got a green algea forming on them
Is there a product to either get ride of this or stop it all together
