We have a long gravel drive with lawns on either side and are looking to edge the drive using reclaimed bricks. I am concerned that the bricks may be too porous and suffer frost damage.

I would appreciate any advice on the applicability of using reclaimed bricks in this manner.

well if they are soft chances are they will suffer frost damage but it may add to the character
if you want summat to last try clay pavers laid on edge
