did anyone have difficulty getting on this site this morning? it took me an hour and half to sort it. i could go on all my favourites except this one. :(

Not sure what happened, but summat went wrong. I've a black hole in the server activity record and no comment from my hosting co.

However, I'll pester them further, as there have been a couple of these incidents over recent weeks, including a whole week of truly appalling connectivity problems in the middle of last month.

The official comment from the hosting company....

"Dear Mr Tony McCormack,

I do apologise there was an issue with websites that were hosted on our clarahost webservers yesterday but this has been resolved.

Please accept my apologise for the inconvenience this has caused to you."


So: no explanation, then? And no comment on last month's cock-up, nor the fact that this weekend and today have been appallingly slow.

If anyone else is having problems, post comments to this thread so that I can use them as ammo when/if I renew my hosting deal later this summer.
