OK, Hi All

At the moment I have a garden which is soon to be evened out so I can lay some 3x2's. The ground is mostly soil with a little rubble mixed in. I intend to build a 6" curb from brick to allow for the excess soil I have - will I need to lay them from below ground level say from 4" depth?

Can anyone throw some tips my way - I'm worried about the surface to lay the flags on. E.g. do I lay sand and grit on top of the soil then lay - then that's it

Any words of wisdom welcomed, Cheers, Elric
