Chelmer Valley Bricks - New Berkshire & Canterbury Multi clay pavers. Has anyone experienced problems with these? I had
35,000 laid in garden paths and terraces. They have not
performed well. Soon lost their colour. The red/orange hues
disappeared within a couple of months. Two years on, they
are very pale pink/white and resemble concrete
blocks that have faded.

I can't pressure wash them as it blows all the sand out plus
the pavers are quite soft too and with 35,000 it would take a lifetime. Anyone in the Cabin who'd care to comment/advise?

No, never cleaned with anything other than laying contractor
came back after 3 months and jet washed some areas but to
no avail. Have some pics but cannot get to grips with emailing photos. Could mail them?

I doubt they have "lost their colour". They are clay pavers: they can't lose their colour, any more than the brickwork on your home can lose its colour. That's what colour they are: full stop.

I wonder if it's efflorescence? However, as LLL says, without a piccie, we're just guessing.
