Confused over whether to seal clay pavers - Which sealer if any

Hi there
I have just cleaned my drive paths etc AGAIN.The pavers are Blockley clay pavers about 100 meters.I would like to seal them if this will reduce the number of times I have to clean them and keep them looking good.I am getting various advice some people are saying don't bother some are saying yes.Could someone give me some good advice is it worth it and what sealer should I use.Many thanks.

it really is the mutts nutts,not sure if its the right one for clay pavers but it works well with stone

Off the top of me 'ed, I'm not sure MN is suitable for clays because of the porosity problem. I normally suggest Pavseel (sic) for clays

sic is a latin abbreviation when people are quoting verbatim someone else's spelling error

Hi

On a slightly different note - do you recommend or not recommend using a mechanical brush system on clay pavers?
I've been looking at these small 2 stroke devices which come with a wire wheel brush.

A mechanical sweeper? Why would you want one of those? They are a bloody nightmare on unsealed paving and accelerate abrasion of the surface and sealant on sealed pavements.
