I am in the designing stages of my first patio / path around a fairly recent conservatory.

I would appreciate some advice with regard using the patio / path - I would like to park my motorcylce in the back garden and use the patio / path as access.

I intend to use Marshall Heritage 38mm thick paving slabs on a a 38 - 50 mm sharp sand / cement bedding layer and using a sub grade to bring up the as dug level to sub grade. The base is chalky subsoil - well drained and very compact.

Will this type of contruction be sufficient for riding a motorcycle over? or should I be looking at something more substantial?

thanks in advance

Stew
