Slate for stepping stones

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hey,

Can anybody suggest any good slate suppliers?

I am looking for 40 random pieces approx 400 - 600mm2 on the stepping surface, and 50 - 100mm 'deep' in a natural (not sawn/dressed) but 'flattish' finish.

If that makes sense ???

I have contacted a couple of quarries but they seem to want to flog me ready-palletted bundles of not exactly the right stuff
