Just phoned up regarding prices for grit sand and the guy said they have the limestone sand in @ 24+vat per ton.

Can this be used in a bedding mix for Raj sandstone or am i better with mgrade?

Thanks
Thankyou

Better avoid it. It has a habit of going slutchy (good old Lancashire term meaning sticky and muddy and claggy and annoying)

It's usually fine when mixed with cement, but nay use at all on its own, and, with some types of stone, there are issues of effloresence/lime bloom associated with its use.
