skivved off today and made the not so arduous 80 mile trip to the NEC to see what the craic was.
i was somewhat alarmed in the carpark that nearly every other bod there had a suit on, but decided to persevere
anyway i was glad i did
although there was not as much stone on show as i expected i met some very interesting folks, including the "gaffer" himself==> very nice man,the lovely donna from ronacrete who was perhaps the only exhibitor who did not try to sell me a timeshare(it just felt that way with some of them )
and the fabled richard evans and his paving markers( remember talk of them?)
anyway in the spirit of enterprise i purchased some of richard's markers and if any of the regulars would like one i will post one to you free of charge (only £999.72 P+P)
they look the mutts nuts and my daughter has managed to write all over the new patio already (kids being kids)
so like i say any regulars want one, ask and i will post(need snail mail addy obviously) i think i can part with about 7-8
cheers LLL
