Im just about finished and will be looking to do the pointing probably wednesday /Thursday.

I think that i will be using Romex and need to know the following.

I have had to replace 2 drain covers with recessed trays, the main frame is of rubberised plastic ( i'm sure you guys will know what i mean)with metal trays. Will there be any problem with using romex as joint between slabs and frame / tray. I'm assuming that as Romex has a resin component it may be better than mortar.

My flags were of the following dimensions:
285 x 285 x 27 flags
285 x 570 x 27 Flags
570 x 570 x 24 Flags
855 x 570 x 20 flags

In calculating coverage of the Romex can i calculate the m2 coverage for each size and add all up to decide the volume of Romex required. Or is it more complicated than that.

On those dimensions i recon to have layed about 23 m2 and would need around 30 litres ( 2 tubs )
