My driveway was completed with clay pavers in August 2006. Yesterday whilst brushing them I noticed that they have faded over the winter and the colour is definately not as good as it was. The bricks used have a lifetime guarantee for non fade so how can this be? Should I contact the brick manufacturer over this? Should the bricks have been sealed when they were laid? Thankyou.

It's more liukely to be dirt discolouring the surface.

Clay pavers do not fade. Full stop. It's physically impossible for them to do so, and it would be a universal first if fading had happened in as little as 8 months!
