Patterns using 3 sizes of brick

Hi

I am just in the throws of having my drive block paved. I have found a brick i like made by formpave in Coleford. It is the chartres design and comes in 3 sizes - 100mm, 150mm and 250mm all 150mm wide. it has a slight cobble look and i wanted one with either 2 or 3 different sizes.

Does anyone know a pattern that would use all 3 sizes other than lay them in straight lines as per the brochure?

have been offered a price of Â£12.50 + vat sq mtr delivered for around 220 sq mtrs.

Are there any other makes i should look at and what is a good price these days.

If you are not in a great hurry we have just introduced a 3 size cobble you can look at. They can be laid randomly, and will be avialable in Charcoal and sandstone.

Formpave will provide you with alternative layouts. It is possible to create a complex herringbone layout using those blocks, fr'instance....

i have to say guv', i dont like the look of that pattern at all

maybe its just the small area,but it dont half look odd

Spoken to Formpave and I must say they were not helpful at all . They had no suggested patterns they could offer me with the 3 brick size.

So anyone else have an alternative patterns ??

There are many: I have about a dozen, but I'm reluctant to publish them because they'll be nicked by manufacturers and I'll lose an income stream.

Might I suggest a bit of graph paper? Shouldn't take more than an hour to come up with something you like.

Seeing as how it is so difficult to get advice on a 3 pattern design, i have decided to go with a 2 brick pattern as i have now changed brick supplier and each size can be purchased seperatly.

tbh maxiboy 3 size patterns are like hen's teeth and like the T-man says if he starts giving them up for free they will get robbed
