Jesus Christ! That is terrible, absolutely terrible!

Only option is to plane off the surface and relay.

I can't figure out how they managed to get all those heel prints into the surface. He must have been a big lad!

If the prints were made into the unrolled surface, I'd have expectd the roller to lose them, so were they made post-rolling, and if so, what does that say about the effectiveness of the roller?

This wasn't that gang that uses a large calor gas bottle on its side with three lads doing the log-roll business on top, was it?

yes, something else isn't it?!!??

what annoys me is the shear volume of tea my wife plied them with - maybe that was the problem, a 12 stone guy with 8 stone of tea in his stomach - can you imagine if the mother-in-law had been handing out her homemade parkin as well ?!!??

Good lord...here I was, thinking it was a print or two -- didn't reckon it would look like Michael Flatley did a performance wearing hobnailed boots!

Wahoo - they re-laid it today and it's smooth !!!

I may keep off it for a week, not that I don't trust them......

Thanks for all your comments/help with this issue.
