Thanks for the advice everyone Just one other question of the block cutters which type are best manual or hydraulic.
would just like to thank you for such a good site.

Manual are fast; hydraulic are powerful. We only use a nydraulic splitter for BIG stone, such as granite kerbs.

Think about it: a manual spliitter takes one downwards lever action to snap a block/flag, whereas a nydraulic splitter might need ten pumps just to get the blade into biting contact with the stone.
