Green alge

Hi guys..... Happy new year to you all and all that stuff that goes with it.
After taking 3 years to complete my garden, of which there is a fair ammount of slabs,slate, granite etc and also a lot of green plants. I have noticed a slight build up of alge over the paving areas. Is this something I have to live with and power wash every year or is there some sort of sealant I can apply to aid the removal of this more easily ?

i think you will have to just jet wash it once a year,its our great british climate mate
i have seen propriety algae and moss removal compounds on the tv but i would assume that nothing of this nature last forever
i personally like to see a bit of patina on flags and slabs it adds a bit of depth and character,but BIG but it can become very slippery

Suggest you look at MMC Pro - we use it regularly during commercial landscape maintenance.

Initial application last a good 6months with subsequent applications lasting longer. Very safe to use (no COSHH rating) so safe to apply commercially with ease. Mix with water and apply.
Go to BrintonsProducts.co.uk - take it look.
While jet washing can be needed in certain situations it is destructive and can often de-stablise paving (not to mention messy).
