What's the correct way to take a digger (1.5t) down a reasonably firm grass covered earth bank ?. Do you keep the boom at the back to put weight at rear or at front near to the ground as a steady?. Estimate a 20% slope over 2 metres.

What are the typical limits of a tracked digger in moving about over slopes ?

We have used the digger to do some trenching in the front garden, but as we have spare time would like to take it into the back garden to do some additional prep work.
