Hi Guys
I feel a bit thick asking you this but as i know absolutely nothing about block paving, i have no choice. I want to get the drive block paved and wondered what time of the year is best. I would love to have it done now but everyone is saying that you shouldn't be block paving in the winter months.
Cheers
Shozza.

provided the work is carried out when the temps are above freezing ie +3-4 deg c then you will have no problems . It is often the cheapest time of year to have the work done we find we have to drop our prices to remain competative between end Nov and middle of January.
hope that helps

this is a common misconception that there is a best or worst time of year for block paving etc.
there are arguments for and againts but if you have uit done now ,any soft scaping will be ready to plant for next year
if it is done in spring or summer then the garden is normally pretty much flattened for that season
IMHO
also in the UK it can rain hard at any time, believe it or not june is our wettest month and january the driest!!
cheers LLL
