I am doing an Indian Sandstone Terrace and want to put in an edger course of clay paviors, in a 'soldier course'. I particularly like the narrow look of Baggeridge Slimpaves.
Could I just turn a standard clay pavior (that I can pick up locally) on its narrow side, rather than pay extra for the Slimpaves? And do you think it have to be nibless and unchampfered to look right? The Slimpaves are square-edged and nibless.
Ah, thanks. I thought it was just concrete pavers only had one exposable side. I suppose I could use engineering brick and turn it on its side, though it isn't nearly as attractive. I'll have to have a think...
you could go for a 50mm bricket,we are using some ibstock ones at the moment but they are 80pence each,i think the clay pavers will be less than that
class *A* engineering bricks can be pricey too
