Hello,
I am new to this, so excuse me if this has been asked a hundred times already.
Two months ago I had a block paving drive done at the front of my house. In the last week or so I have noticed that the drive is starting to sink slightly in tracks where i park my van.
My van is only a citreon berlingo and is not very heavily laden and is probably not much bigger than a family car. Is this normal, or should i get the bloke back to have a look?

If you look here you will see tha answers to all your questions.
The sub base normally extends a little outside the edge of the surface layer and the edge would be haunched on top of it to prevent movement.
The chances are that your problem is the result of an inadequate base.
And yes it happens a depressing number of times.
