Ideas please..

Having a fairly large drive blocked, (roughly sqaure shaped drive) Currently driveway is level between house and road (no natural fall in any direction) Planing to have a four way slope, ie from each corner to the middle, where there will be a drain grill and soakaway underneath (will also be used for gutter drainage via normal underground pipework). thinking of having a circular pattern across whole drive, centred on drain and radiating out.similar to picture on page 116 of current Marshallss catalogue (drvivesett duo circle) Anyone have any pictures or thoughts on how this might look bearing in mind there will be a four way slope to the middle.?
Also if using blocks that have more of a 'cobbled' effect, are they harder to keep free of dirt, weeds etc in-bertween the blocks?

I don't think I would want to make a feature of a drain... I like the idea of a circle to offset the square drive but why not make it slightly convex and drain any water that doesnt go through the joints off to the sides?

Problem with draining to sides is that level from house to road is the same, so if having a slope to the sides it would be high in the middle and across the frount of the garage would be on a slope, or would the slope be so shallow not to really notice? Width of drive is about 11 metres

Then I guess you will need some drainage. You only need about 1:80 in any direction so even across the full 11 metres that would anly be a difference of 138mm (5½ inches). How you do it will depend on the soil type etc. Have a look at Tony's advice on drainage here
