Manhole covers

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

i one manhole cover and an inspection cover in the area i am going to lay the pation in Indian sandstone.
can i still use a recesed cover and if so do i bed the flags on a wet mix still or sharp sand??

recesed trays are fine for use with slabs and i would use a wet mix
