How much hardcore to order? - As much as it takes to fill the hole?

Other groundworks tasks, such as roads and footpaths, terracing, fencing, foundations, walls and brickwork, tools and plant.

How to work out how much hardcore I need is a puzzle to me.
I know they sell it by the tonne but because I have never done anything like this is my life I wondered if they was a formula that I could use like length x width x depth?
The drive is 50 x 22 but how deep should it be? and how much would that weigh? How many tonne?
Questions, questions, I know I am skint but I what a nice example of a excellent drive as this would be a best first effort. ???
No work in Ulrome. Thankyou ;-)

The drive is 50 x 22

is that metres or feet???
if it is metres you need 200 tonnes of MOT
if it is feet you need about22-24 tonnes of MOT stone
you can buy crushed concrete quite cheap in most places if you are on a budget, about £150 for 12 tonnes
hope this helps tony :)
"what,you want paying today??"
