Hi m8,
I have done a fair few stone monoliths and i normally use a large sump/resivoir with the thick metal grids on top that they sell at garden centre or supply shops. With the heavier ones i support the four corners of the grid with breeze blocks stacked on a small concrete foundation.
The water height sounds quite high so u will need a quite powerful pump maybe around a 1500w?
