Patterned imprinted concrete - Slippy surface

I had imprinted concrete laid approx 3 years ago, and ever since it was laid the surface has been slippy. I've had the original pavers back and they have resealed the surface twice with nonslip sealant but the problem is still the same. Can you suggest anything that I can do myself to solve this problem - I have 2 small children who cannot run on the drive or patio if there is any damp patches anywhere !!!!

Have you more info on resin bonded gravel - where can I get it, will the surface pattern be lost, will the colour change?

This is quite similar to the idea of the non-slip sealer as it incorporates small particles of sand to make the sealer slightly abrasive.

If you sprinkle ground pumice or silica sand on top of the sealer immediately after you have sealed the drive and before it has dried, it will add a bit of an abrasive feel to the top coat of sealer. You need to be careful to ensure it does noot sink into the sealer where iit will have no effect. But if resting on the top, it should add more grip.

Obviously it doesn't look great. You could go for something that would provide more grip than ground pumice or silica sand but obviously it will look even less acceptable.
