Blocked interceptor - Help

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Excellent site.Need help.Have a blocked gully,called an interceptor,i think...it goes down and then up...plunged it and tried putting the 'wiggly worm' up it, no joy.when i jet it goes pass that branch from the ic.....any ideas

is it in your manhole? is there a rodding eye above the channel? they are a nuisance. the bottom is a trap and could be silted up.

if its original there like a rodding eye that can be removed,but generally speaking interceptors just dont work

we had to remove a load of them around london. cant understand why they still install them in small i c c that are difficult to get at. how deep is it? worse case scenario could be you need confined sspace operatives as disturbing oil grese etc is dangerous. dyno rod may be your only option.
