ive dug out my front garden and uncoverd the old clay foul pipe.problem is it cuts across where i want the drive by 2 foot at 1 end.do i need permission to move it back and put a bend in it.instead of it cutting across the garden at an angle to the next door i want to run it sraight then bend to join next door, thus allowing me to keep the distance from my retaing wall to end of property the same lenghth across the drive. thanx brendan

If it has a bend in it then it should probably have an inspection chamber or rodding point situated on or near by, I would probably give the local Building inspector a quick call just to check wether he would want to see it or not, if its not moved correctly it could come back and bite you on the butt.
After the driveway has been layed it will cause more mither than a phone call if it has to be corrected
