Tarmac/bitmac

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

I have a contractor coming out next week to tarmac my driveway, but a friend in work asked my was i getting tarmac or bitmac. This confused me as i thought they were the same. Is there any difference? and if so what is the best. The guy is coming out at the weekend to do a final measure up and i want to be able to sound half knowledgable.

Thanks for any help

They are interchangable terms. Go here for enough info to make you an expert.

I strongly reccommend that you read the whole page and check out the links to construction methods as well.

If you let the contractor know that you have been on this website he is less likely to try to rip you off.
You're entitled to the work, not the reward.
