Hi All

About to lay Sandstone circle and every pic i see shows them layed in the staggered fashion. Is this the preferred method ? As a mate of mine is recommending to Line up all joins from centre to outer.

Anyone help me out here.

Also i'm laying on a slope and need to brick up the lower part of circle to make level, how can i achieve this when they are so irregular ??

Thanks.

"Stonemarket's" web site shows ready made circles (I have used some of their hexagons and they look great) with the joints lined up and staggered.

See here for a pic.

I suppose it is a matter of taste.

O.k. Circle has arrived and for some reason it was totally different to the one shown in the STONEMARKET book. I only ordered 2 rings and recieved 3 rings plus the squaring off kit.:)
The second ring though contains more sections than the spec so i guess it's swings/roundabouts.
Also some slabs are dirty/slight green algae, how do i go about cleaning these before i lay them.

ta.

Everyone seems to think Jeyes fluid does the business.
