How to space 'ends of mesh'

Other groundworks tasks, such as roads and footpaths, terracing, fencing, foundations, walls and brickwork, tools and plant.

I have a 2nd question on reinforcing mesh ...
Concrete raft has 150mm over slab .. with 2 layers of mesh, 50mm apart.
On perimeter thickening there is a third lower 'dog leg’ layer of mesh.
The top & bottom sheets of mesh will have 50mm spacer steel
The bottom layer of mesh (and the dog leg pieces) will be spaced off floor with 50mm spacers, what do you use to support the overhang of the main mesh over the perimeter area ? I’ll try an ascii sketch (don’t know how to upload image to forum)

What support do you put in between lower dog leg ‘y’ and lower sheet of main mesh ‘x’

Probably too late for this now - can you send me a 'proper' sketch, Rick?
