If you're the contractor on this one, get a structural engineer with slab design experinece to take a look. The sub-grade and the use to which the slab will be put need to be factored-in, and it's not fair to expect a contractor to take on such a risk (unless, of course, they are a Design & Build Contractor).
The CCJs could be ample, but I'd still feel happier having it checked out by someone with the right letters after their name.
