Great site by the way !! I`m going to be laying Castacrete/ autumn gold flags on top of exsisting concrete (100mm), on a 50mm sharp/charing mortar mix, But the concrete has been painted yearly will I need to score the surface ( ie diamond blade ) or can I lay straight on as finished depth to concrete will be over 80mm? :O Any help will be magik

No real need to score, but it wouldn't do any harm.
