hi, have built a few brick walls before, and have always dug the founds and built on the center of the found the way they should be, however due to problems on a certain job what would be the problems that could be caused if the brickwork was to be built on the side of the found without the approx 100mm spread on the side?

cheers mark

Depends on how much bwk - the length, the height, and the loading to which it is subjected. For a wall of less than 2m height, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
