Cobble drive sand joints - What to use?

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

I am in the process of cleaning my drive and have removed all the weeds/ moss that has grown through the joints. The gaps are quite wide between each stone (about 5mm) ,wider than on block paving. The stones are not wobbling but when I clean out the mud they may do so.

Question is, What would be the best sand to use? Should I use the Kiln Dried Sand as on block paving, even though the gaps are bigger?

Thanks

Are these really "cobbles" or do you mean "setts"?
