Setts - In search of the perfect

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

I have recently got planning permission to lay reclaimed granite setts in a conservation area.

House is Victorian but rendered.

Council wont allow block paving, and would only originally allow tarmac or gravel.Trouble is we live opposite a park and the leaf fall is tremendous, hence persuading them to allow reclaimed setts.

Thats where problem starts.

I cant seem to find what I am looking for, which I thought would be smooth (worn) blue granite setts. Am even now considering modern setts from Baggeridge.I dont want anything to lumpy looking or anything that will not tone in with house and look to brash. Anyone got any ideas or contacts.

We live in West Midlands

Thanks
