Laying Concrete in November

Post: # 119943Post Posh

Bit of advice for someone not in groundworks please? I’ve been grateful for the advice here and on the main site for past paving projects. Sorry to hear about Tony, hope that someone’s got the keys to this place.

I’ve a very small concrete shed base to lay next week probably around 14th November (1.3m x 2.2m x 100mm) for a tall thin shed being delivered mid December. Overnight temperatures are forecast to fall to around 6C. Is this likely to effect curing in a catastrophic way? If so! Wha5 can I do about it in addition to covering?

It will be fine. Pour first thing in morning. Cover it up in the afternoon
