I have a mass concrete base which is the top of an underground carpark and I need to lay 500mm square x50mm thick granite pavers over it, what is the ideal makeup for the slabs. I have 170mm of space from the top of the mass concrete to the finished paved level (top of the granite slabs). So thats 120mm if you take the thickness of the slabs out.
Any ideas?

Should I be using a compacted granular fill then a semi dry mix?

It's specification work - you need an engineer to design the pavement to ensure the integrity of the underground car park isn't compromised.
I haven't seen the site or any drawings, so I'm not going to spec the work on a public forum. Daft I ain't!
