Hi everyone.

I've only just joined and very much an amateur.

I've just recieved my flagstone project pack which I am going to attempt to lay myself, but I'm concerned with the most effective way to finish the edge which will meet the lawn, the patio will be a couple of inches higher than the lawn and I appreciate there must be a many different ways to finish the edge but I've come on here to get some expert advice.

Look forward to all your ideas.

Many thanks.

Apologies for being late to this - had all sorts of health issues with angina during the heatwave and now an arthritic knee that is driving me mad with pain.

The eaisest fix it to skim off the turf for 500-600mm or so at the edge of the patio and sprinkle a bit of coarse/sharp/grit sand to elevate the re-laid turfs so that they nmeet the level of the paving.
