Cleaning my patio! - Limescale?

Hi,

I have a reasonably new patio, we have a fountain set into it, however, this fountain splashes a little, and this seems to have stained the slabs with what I can only assume is lime scale?

The solution is to use rainwater (I assume this will be ok!) this is not a problem, as I have installed a rainwater irrigation system, and have connected this fountain up to it.

The problem left is; how to remove the stain!

Here are some pictures, and I know, I need to sweep it!!

Would it be OK to use brick Acid on this type of paving?

I am not quite sure what it is called, but when it is cut, the cross section looks like it is full of stones!

try jeyes fluid i reckon that will do it.

DO NOT use brick acid unless you want to make the flags even worse.

Use hot water, detergent and a stiff brush.

Once you have the flags clean, consider using a sealant to protect them from further staining.
