Turf parking/sports - A little help!?

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hello! I'm a landscape architect in New York, working on a project on the San Francisco bay...we're researching MANY forms of alternative turf paving for the parking lot for a large stadium and, when not parked, we'd like to use the fields as sporting areas. We've looked into COUNTLESS paving/supportive technologies including GrassPave2, Netlon, StaLok, Tensar Mat, Turf Grid, etc etc etc....I feel we've exhausted our resources, but we're just not SURE that anything will work as we want - we know that it's all dependent on how it's installed/maintained...but would love your recommendation. The specifics? A LARGE parking area for parking/tailgating about 7-9 times a year...the rest of the time would be sports fields, although we would love some of the paving system to grow tall, native grasses....
Any assistence or advice you can give would be WONDERFUL! thanks!

I can't comment on US installations as I've no experience of the climate or the native grasses used.
