Hi I was was going to hijack the sandwich post but thought this a bit somber. I have thoroughly enjoyed this forum and in my many years of paving learnt so much, for which I am most grateful. However, in the last month I have had a brain hem and my cancer has come back in spades. So the short version is to say goodbye to you guys and thanks so much. At the moment the drs reckon possibly as much as another year or so, I don't know but I will be concentrating on kicking it up the a*se. And there was nothing better than stopping at the roadside in the early morning chill for the bacon butty and poly cup of coffee. go well and be safe.

Billy, you have been a fantastic contributor for many, many years, and it's been a pleasure to have shared your company and benefit from your experience. I would be thrilled if you continued to keep an eye on us for as long as you possibly can.

I hope the coming months go easy on you, and may the road rise to meet you! Good Luck, Old Pal!
